Sequel Data Systems invites you to join us at Papacito’s Cantina for a very special cybersecurity event. Eric Capuano, who founded Recon InfoSec in 2015, will be using his expertise as both a Cyber Warfare Operator with the Air National Guard and an instructor of Digital Forensics and Incident Response to present an enterprise cyberattack from the perspective of both attacker and defender.
You will be able to watch an adversary move through the attack “kill chain” from phishing email to ransomware execution. This will be a hands-on session as each participant will have the opportunity to walk through a guided intrusion investigation. You will also learn about some of the defense scenarios that were featured in this year’s DEFCON Blue Team CTF hosted by Recon InfoSec.
We’ll be serving drinks and appetizers throughout the event, which will also feature presentations by Sequel Data Systems and Fortinet. We’ll wrap up at 5:00 pm, but feel free to stay as late as 6:00 pm to ask questions and discuss your specific security concerns.
Dinner will be provided. Participants will go home with a full fajita dinner for four, complete with all the fixings, including rice, beans, and chips and queso. Choose from beef, chicken, combo or vegetarian fajitas.
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn from a high-level security expert. Be sure to register on our event page and indicate your choice of fajitas.
